About This

• Cover Crop - Large premium packet of Yellow Mustard seeds. Winter-hardy and drought-tolerant cover crops can help cover the soil of your home garden beds during the off season. We've included enough seed in one packet to cover an 8' x 4' garden bed. Minimum of 7 g per packet (about 2500 seeds).
• Productive - Yellow Mustard germinates in 4-5 days when soil temps are 55-75°F. Plant 1” deep and space 5” apart in an area with full sun. This variety will grow 30-45’’ tall with a spread of 10-24”. Matures in 80-85 days, plant in USDA zones 4-7.
• Soil Health - Yellow mustard is an extremely quick-maturing cover crop. It prevents erosion, suppresses weeds, loosens compacted soil, and improves soil quality through nutrient scavenging. As a green mulch, its high levels of glucosinolates can help keep soil healthy. Improving soil health through cover crop planting is an easy and low cost way of maintaining your garden from year to year.
